The Youth Development Committee strives to implement programs and partnerships which support the core mission of Black Professional Men. YDC forms active partnerships with schools, Businesses, community and civic organizations that target, mentor, and promote youth in the greater Baltimore community.

We volunteer, collectively, several hours each month to mentor and tutor young boys, promote and teach economic development to the Baltimore community, and engage government officials in dialogue for solutions to the plight of both the African-American male and the community at large. In the past sixteen years, Black Professional Men Inc. has awarded over $186,000 in scholarships to nearly 200 deserving African-American male high school graduates. We fund our mission through the financial support of the BPM membership, corporations, charitable foundations, and patrons of our mentoring and tutoring programs. Our efforts help support our mission, “To Ensure the Future of The African-American Male.”
Black Professional Men works with young African-American Men, from the Baltimore area, providing emotional and financial support, in their higher educational pursuit. We would love to have your support in helping us to continue our Mission.

One Time Donation

We appreciate your one time tax deductable donation. As you decide on an amount, we suggest donations of $25, $50, $100. Your donations allow BPM to provide 10 young men with college scholarships each year. To show our appreciation and to acknowledge your generous contribution, we will list your name as a Sponsor on our website and in our Rays of Hope Scholarship Awards Breakfast Journal.
